Between 11 and April 15 will celebrate the European Week of Sustainable Energy 2011 with the objective to show and discuss measures to promote energy efficiency and renewable energies that are implementing government, businesses and citizens throughout the European Union. As part of this week, hundreds of European cities organized the Day of Energy, Spain is the European country with most municipalities involved in this initiative (125), although scarce Andalusian municipalities. There's only activities in Almeria, Granada and Seville. April 12 will take place the ceremony of the European Awards for Sustainable Energy, directed to projects of energy efficiency and renewable energies have a high impact and are easily replicable. In this issue there have been a total of 303 initiatives. addition, European institutions, together with members of the Campaign Sustainable Energy Europe, is organizing a series of events in Brussels, including a conference on Energy Policy from 12 to 14 April.
